Julie is an Ontario based Registered Dietitian, food writer, and recipe developer.

Like many of us, I found my way into the nutrition world because of my own struggles with food. As a masters level dietitian, I love translating science into practical information and advice.

When I’m not writing or whipping something up in the kitchen, you can find me puttering in my garden with my five year old dog, Oliver.

In Ontario, dietitian’s are regulated healthcare professionals. This means they must meet a number of strict requirements to maintain their credentials. This includes obtaining an undergraduate degree in nutrition, completing a dietetic internship, and writing and passing the Canadian Dietetics Registration Exam.
