Chocolate Date Bites for Labor Preparation
Are you in the final few weeks of your pregnancy looking for fun ways to eat dates?
When my midwife recommended that I start having dates every day towards the end of my pregnancy I honestly didn’t think it would be too hard.
I was wrong.
If you don’t know what I’m talking about, research has shown that there may be some benefit to eating 70-100g of dates daily in the last few weeks of pregnancy. When I weighed this out, I was shocked to see what this amounted to. If it were just one day, no problem, but everyday? I needed to find more inventive ways to eat them.
Over the next few weeks I am going to share some of my favourite date forward recipes incase you are in the same boat. We’re kicking things off with a rich chocolately date ball!
